The Providence Art Club was a fitting venue to celebrate of our Head of School, Jennifer Borman. Over the past ten years, she has strengthened School One’s dynamic arts program and nurtured its strong sense of community for students, families and faculty.
School One has branched out to offer adults and students, alike, a variety of opportunities to create and share stories through its dynamic community writing center.
Eastside Monthly features a story about School One’s unique intergenerational program, Working Stories, in which participants explore art making and storytelling to examine themes related to work.
School One student, Lola Rael, was selected for an intergenerational landscape painting class with artist Ida Schmulowitz—a RISD grad known for her practice of painting urban scenes through the changing seasons.
Providence Monthly feature about School One’s unique book club, offered through the LitCenter, where students and Hamilton House members come together to discuss David McCullough’s The Wright Brothers.
