Jane Levasseur Rozzero joined School One in March 2020 when she jumped right in during one of the most stressful times in the school’s history. Jane’s career in special education came after a first career in the business world where she felt as if she was not making enough difference in the world. She turned to teaching for the fun and the reward of working with teenagers. As Jane says, “helping students to discover that they can do things that they thought they couldn’t or thought they couldn’t do well but can, is one of the best perks of my job.” When Jane is not working, she is at the gym, watching British mysteries, or throwing a tennis ball to her dog. Jane earned her Bachelor’s of Accounting at Central Connecticut State University and then went on to study at Providence College where she earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She is also certified to teach English, TESL, and Special Education by Rhode Island College.
