Bill Frey began tutoring while an undergraduate majoring in mathematics. His teaching career includes eight years at independent schools in Vermont and Maine, college level teaching at the University of Wisconsin and CCRI and volunteer teaching at correctional facilities in Vermont and Rhode Island. He’s held management consulting and senior executive positions in multiple industries and owned a custom millwork business from 2011 until 2018.
Bill brings enthusiasm, curiosity and empathy to his instruction. He seeks to involve technology and connect the material to authentic situations. Past student projects have ranged from cooking, casino nights and designing skate parks to students deriving the result showing the impossibility of angle trisection and stock market simulations. His life is guided by two core values: faith and practice.
