How to Apply - A group shot of four students.

How to Apply

Step 1. Informational interview

The interview offers interested students ample opportunities to learn more about us while we begin the process of getting to know them. Our Admissions Coordinator is available to discuss financial aid and explain how to pursue it. The interview includes a tour of the school with a student guide.

Step 2. English and Math placement tests

Every applicant must take our Humanities and Math placement tests. These help us place students in the correct classes. They are not timed, but take around 2-3 hours. The fee for these tests is $25.

Step 3. The five-day visit

All applicants are encouraged to sign up for a five-day visit. The visit allow us as well as the applicant to know if School One is a good fit, well before a financial commitment has been made. During the week we assess the student’s classroom participation, social interactions and punctuality. We gauge his or her willingness to become part of our community – a very important factor in the overall success of our program. At the end of the week, faculty and staff make a decision and notify the family on Friday afternoon.

Join us for an hour, a week or four years!  Set up an informational interview with Julia, our Admissions Coordinator, at (401) 331-2497.
